Birthday Event

Description

The Birthday Event is active once per year, starting in November and usually running for 1 week. The objective of the event is to loot cake, craft it into larger cakes, then open them around your friends and share the loot.

Cakes

Small Cake Loot

  • For you: 1 Birthday Token, 1-3 score points
  • For 3 others: 5x Health Potion or 5x Mana Potion
  • For 1 other: a slice of 11th Birthday Cake

Medium Cake Loot

  • For you: 5 Birthday Tokens and a chance to loot Birthday Balloons for your house, 4-7 score points
  • For 3 others: 1000 Gold!
  • For 1 other: a Small 11th Birthday Cake

Large Cake Loot

  • For you: 25 Birthday Tokens and a chance to loot the Birthday Banner for your house, 8-12 score points
  • For 3 others: a random weak or damaged Jewel!
  • For 1 other: a Medium 11th Birthday Cake

Grand Cake Loot

For you: 100 Birthday tokens and a chance to loot the Birthday Cake furnishing, 13-18 score points plus a chance to loot...

Elixir

2023 - NEW Birthday Farmer's Elixir

The Birthday Farmer's elixir will give you a chance to drop additional items from Arlorian bosses. Items have a chance to drop as long as the boss is within 10 levels of your character level.

  • Pet XP Kits (bound) - ranging from 100 XP to 1000 XP.
  • Crafting Speed-Ups - ranging from 30min to 12hr.
  • Damaged Jewels.
  • Weak Jewels.
  • 1 Awakening Gem.
  • "Golden Trail" Back Vanity item.
  • 2023 "Radiant" Saree, Sherwani and Pagri vanity item crafting recipes.
  • "Star Beast" vanity item crafting recipes - which allow you to turn your Mythic 86 "Star Beast" Armor or Helmet into a vanity!
  • "Rangoli Flower" Badge.

Birthday Bandit

The birthday bandit appears when opening Grand Cakes. It can drop items:

Birthday Dragon

Complete the Jarl's initial quests to gain access to East Windmoore where the powerful party dragon Arcanax awaits! Up to 25 players can enter the zone and take on Arcanax. He will respawn every ten (10) minutes.

Defeating the dragon will give you a chance to collect:

  • - Locked Birthday Boxes 2023
  • - 19-25 score points

How to make Gold

  • Use two devices, and two accounts = double loot.
  • Loot cake, craft it to Grand, sell on Auction.
  • Reach Arcane Tier on all your characters to receive 5 unlocked crates on each, hope for something good, sell it.

Guaranteed Loot after a certain amount of pulls will grant you one Lv 81 Arcane Item, plus the Diwali Light Badge.

You can visit the store during the event for the Massive Locked Birthday Box which offers 3 pulls on Locked Birthday Box loot.

As well as Class Specific Birthday Boxes which give a better chance to grab class-specific loot. On 11/11, get the 11:11 aura! On 11/12, collect the Golden Trail Wisp.

Tips

  • Use Weapons and Skills that have high tick rates, such as Duggar Daggers, Dragon Hunter Sword, Razor Shield, Time Shift, and Axe Throw to increase damage dealt to Arcanax, The Birthday Dragon.
  • Use Energize for Mage when fighting Arcanax, it appears to be the thing that is most effective at increasing effective dps.
  • When fighting Arcanax, use pets with DoT effects, such as Magma, Cotis, Venim, Reppy, Titan, Slobber, Thog.
  • Wait until the end of the Event to buy Cakes/Badges in the Auction House, they will be cheaper near the end of the event.
  • You may struggle to keep Arcanax in the meta spot, in which case just axe pull it into walls, never axe pull from anywhere else.
  • Keep Arcanax against walls.
  • Arcanax has a gold circle knockback attack, it's a great time to pull it to the meta spot after that.
  • Work as a team and try to keep Arcanax in the small area with blue circle (meta spot).
  • Keep Arcanax as still as possible to maximise DPS.

Notes

  • 2022 + 2023 Birthday Event featured a zone for the event and a "Birthday Dragon"
  • Birthday Dragon encounter is Hardcore-friendly!
  • Each hit that you, your friends, and your pets land on Arcanax will reduce his HP by 1.
