Captain Rutger was a member of The Watch, who betrayed his own people for his evil purpose. He later again betrayed his people of the Kraag Army in order to retrieve the Artifact, which he believes will revive his lost love. He was killed by the Heroes of Legend at the Arcanum Grounds, where the Artifact was destroyed forever. Later on he comes back during the Dimensional Gladiator Games, under the alias Rutger the Betrayer.
The vanity armors 'Armor of the Watch' and 'Betrayer' are based off of Rutger.
