Halloween Event

"Here's the thing about zombies...they tend to come back. And they've done just that this year. Necropolis is once more overrun with terrifying undead and it's up to you to stop it!"

Description

The Halloween Event is one of the oldest Events in Arcane Legends. It's usually on in late October, runs for 3 weeks, and has a 3 day cooldown.

The Halloween Event is an energy-based event.
Spend energy points to enter the boss zone.
Defeat Necropolis monsters to progress through the event tiers
Earn tokens to redeem items from the Token Vendor's stash of Halloween goodies.
You can get to Necropolis either from the main map or by talking to the Necropolis Gatekeeper.

Mechanics

Event Zone:

Once inside you are prompted to purchase a Bane Item for 10 Platinum. (Buying from Auction for ~500k is an option.)
Bane Items vastly help in event zones. Past years' Bane Items work too.
Eliminate the mobs in two stages of pulls; one pull will exceed mob leash range, and they will run away.
On occasion, defeating this boss will open a separate portal to special Halloween event zones.
One Necropolis Candy Bag must be used for access to the special zones.
Candy bags can be crafted using Candy Bars that drop from mobs all around Arlor.

Boogies Mansion:

Faster than Oligarch
Can loot Boogie Badge

Oligarch Mansion:

Mobs can drop some gold and Candy Bars
Can loot Oligarch Badge

What You'll Need

A character at least 2 levels within level cap (e.g Level 84). Running event without that will be difficult.
STR/HP so you don't die in one hit (as a team the event will be pretty easy).
Gold Loot Set for more Gold from Boogie & Oligarch.
Zaarus Set recommended for Paracelsus.

How to Obtain Loot

Using Luck can re-roll items into Locked Crates.
If you're only interested in bags then choose Boogie's Mansion.
To get energy, try The Hauntlet, Indigo Caverns, Mausoleum 3+, Zodias.

How to Make Gold

Farm Boogie & Oligarch Bags, sell them after the event.
Reach Plat Tier every week on 2+ Characters, (30 Elite Awakening Gems per Character) Awaken Kraken, sell.
Buy expensive Furnishings from the decorator, sell it after the event for millions.
Reach Top 5 on Leaderboard, sell your items after 5 to 10 months have passed = $$$.

Notes

The 2022/2023 Halloween Event had 3 rounds of 1 week each.
Leaderboards and event tiers granted rewards each week, then reset.
3 chances to climb to the top of the global leaderboards and your personal tiers!
Event Locked Crate contents also changed each week.
The 2014 Halloween event gave vanities for reaching top 25, those vanities are now extremely rare, and may be valued at up to 10b.
Running for top 5 LB is hard, especially now with the low Energy Drop Rate, you may need to buy Energy Kits. Dedicate all of your time to it or you won't reach top 5.
