House Party Event

Description

The House Party Event is a new player friendly Event.

Kill Blotto every hour to get easy loot.

"You don't have to wait for Halloween to get your party on! But be careful, there's a party crasher lurking in Arlor and he may have his eyes on your rocking shindig if it gets too rowdy."

The House Party Event usually runs for 1 week with a 3 day cooldown, and just before the Halloween Event.

Mechanics

Gather 20 or more of your friends and guild mates in your house (guild halls don't count*) for a party! You get to decide what to do at this party. It's just the number of people that counts.

A realm-wide broadcast message saying "The Party Crasher is looking for a party to crash" will appear a few minutes before "Blotto" spawns! He'll appear every 2 hours. (Seems to be patched to 1 hour).

If you have 20+ people in your house immediately after this message displays (approximately 5 minutes), Blotto will spawn.

Once slain, Blotto has a chance to drop:

Gold
Furnishings
Event Crates

The Blotto Encounter

Blotto takes 1 damage at a time. This will prevent instant-kills and make sure that everyone gets to participate.
BUT, he does do significant damage! So be careful, Legends, especially all you Hardcore types! (No Perma-death)
Finally, when Blotto takes damage he has a chance to drop Health and Mana powerups.
Be aware, to reap Blotto's rewards you need to actively participate in the battle.

What You'll Need

Friends (Add everyone you see in-game)
You can play this event effectively without equipment.
A Luck Set (This may not be needed, just like a Gold Loot Set)
A Pet with DoT Passive (Magma, Garlic, etc)
A Pet with DoT AA (Magma, Reppy, etc)
A Weapon with DoT proc (Dragon Hunter Sword, Duggar Dagger, etc)

How to Obtain Loot

Set Alarms on your phone every 2 hours, 10-15 minutes before Blotto arrives, to remind you to log in.
Check Houses on "The Home Show".
Ask in Townes, such as Paradise Pier & Expedition Camp for "Any House Parties?".
Stay close to Blotto, you may not get loot if you're further than 25 meters from Blotto when it dies.

How to Make Gold

Use 2+ accounts to get more drops (Warning: people may report you if you're AFK, then STS will be aware you're "AFK account farming", DON'T BE AFK!)
Kill Blotto
Buy the Crates in the Store so you don't need to buy the Crates from Players.
Buy the Burning Sunrise Aura from the Store on 10/14-10/15 for 1750 Platinum, wait a year or so, sell it for 300m+.

Event NPCs

Galas:

Galas will offer you Quests during the Event.
Be sure to click through the dialog to be given Quests.

Evensa:

Evensa is the Event Vendor.
Vendor items are inaccessible until "Party Crasher Smash" Quest from Galas has been completed.

Evensa sells the following items:

Evensa's Magic L86 Weapon Trunk
Evensa's Magic Jewel Trunk
25 Party Favors
50 Party Favors

It costs 5 Party Favors to open a Trunk, they contain various items, one item is removed from the next trunk once one has been opened (Resets once empty or after 24 hours pass).

There doesn't appear to be Leaderboards or Tiers for this Event.

Tips

Use two devices at once for 2x loot, but don't be AFK during the fight.
Use items that have high damage tick rates, such as Duggar Daggers, Dragon Hunter Sword.
